Village Empowerment Initiative ( VEI) is guided by a committed, working board composed of like-minded individuals who share a deep commitment to the mission and vision of the organization. Our board actively participates in governance, program oversight, fundraising, and strategic planning, ensuring accountability and a hands-on approach to advancing education, cultural heritage, and community development in rural Liberia and the United States.
As a working board, we collaborate closely with volunteers and supporters to advance VEI’s goals, uphold our values, and engage with partners and communities. We are united by a shared belief that empowering youth, communities, and strengthening local networks leads to lasting, transformative impact.
